🍛The Granular Grid 🍛
After maghrib prayer, Mustafa makes his way out still thinking about the strange events from earlier when he notices a commotion coming from the kitchen.
Uncle Idris is scratching his head in confusion. Over the last 2 months families of the local community have been donating food parcels to the masjid which prepares iftar meals for those that wish to break fast in congregation and the local homeless people.
Every food parcel has been logged by brother Salih and sister Mary who tends to the front office.
They were asked to log every item of food 1 by 1.
The problem is that for some reason the note app has produced an output file written in vertical format instead of horizontal. It was programmed to divide all the donations of food into an even split over 30 days. It seems that maybe AI was used to write the script to make the split evenly. The prompt was probably poorly written and now the original note file has been erased. All we have is this really bad file output.
So, rather than list each day's ingredients on 1 line like below:
chicken diced lamb
rice potatoes
rice milk
Each day's ingredients are listed as a columns instead!
crr
hii
icc
cee
k
epm

Mustafa glances at the file and can’t help but smile.
Once again, the problem isn’t the data — it’s the way it’s arranged.
Sister Mary recalls that every time Rice was donated, it was logged in batches of 500 grams and pasta was logged as batches of 250 grams.
